Devoted daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend Cindy Kidd, 70, of Elk grove passed away peacefully with family by her side. She was born June 15,1954, in Sacramento to the late Loren and Joan Kidd.
Cindy was a lifelong Elk Grove resident, graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1972, and contributed to the community beer whole life.
Cindy valued two things above all else: family and friendship. Sh had a heart of gold, a generous spirit and a great sense of humor. If you were lucky enough to know Cindy, you were lucky enough to be in the presence of kindness.
She worked in the financial and information technology fields for several years, recently retiring from the State of California. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with extended family.
Cindy is survived by her niece Christy, nephew Loren, sister-in-law Andrea, great-nephews Ian and Charlie, and great-niece Evelyn.
Per Cindy's request, no formal funeral service will be take place. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Cindy's memory to the National Brain Tumor Society, a cause cl.ose to her heart - Information from the Elk Grove Citizen

Cindy was my bff in our younger years. She was more like a sister to me than a cousin. I'm heartbroken beyond words. RIp Cindy..say hi to all our family up there. Until we meet again.
