Bill Reaves, 82 years old, transitioned peacefully on May 15, 2018, following a brief illness, with his loving wife, Diana by his side. He was born on November 18, 1935, in Gonzales, Texas while his family was visiting relatives. Bill was a native of Elk Grove, CA, graduating from Elk Grove High School in 1955. He was a tile contractor for over 50 years, a profession he loved, and mentored his son, Scott, in the trade. Bill enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. He is survived by his son, Scott: his brother, Jack: and stepchildren, Tamara, Carol, and Michael, all who adored him. Devoted Boompa to three grandchildren, Kristin Goree (Jason), Megan Brooks (Garrett), and Mason Reaves: and 5 great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Hazel, Peyton, Audrey, and Grayson. Proceeded in death by his wife of 52 years, Ellen Bernice (Burkhart): and his parents, Sid and Anna Reaves. Bill married Diana 6 years ago, and the two split time between Sacramento and Reno, NV, before settling in Sun City, AZ. He loved the dry heat and wearing shorts year-round.
