Class of 1966
Air Force, 4 Years
served from 1966 - 1970, trained at Lackland AFB, Keesler AFB, then off to Turkey and several TDY stations from there. Returned stateside in November 1968 to undergo training for a Southeast Asia assignment. trained at Goodfellow AFB Texas, Fairchild AFB Washington, Hamilton AFB California, Clark AFB Phillipines, for airborne duties out of Saigon South Vietnam March 1969 - March 1970. returned stateside March of 1970 for 5 months at Kelly AFB & Medina Base in San Antonio.

Navy, 6 Years
Served from July 1958 to July 1964 in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 4 years and 2 years active duty aboard the USS Independence CVA62 as a Signalman and Radar operator. Served two tours in the Mediterranean. You may believe it or not, but they were shooting at each other in Lebanon even then. We were never fired upon but were almost constantly being observed by "fishing boats" with more radar and radio antennae than most warships. LOL
They were fishing for our secrets, not those swimming below. These were the days before hundreds of space satellites that know where everything and everyone might be at any given time.

Infantryman 0311..1981-87 Served in Marine Barracks NAS North Island, WPNS CO 1/9 1st Mar. Div., M.C.R.D. San Diego...1996-2003 Surgical Support Co. A 4th FSSG 4TH MAR DIV (USMCR) as Senior Enlisted Advisor (injured in accident and no longer physically able to reenlist as of 2003((spine fused after 3 vertebrae injured--drug addict hit me head-on 50+ mph)
