Drafted in the Army and entered the Navy for a year of schooling. 18 months in Viet Nam aboard the USS Perkins DD877. GQ 50 caliber. Graduated in 1964 from EHS. After service attended Chadron State College and the University of Nebraska Kearney. Activities: Eagle football, Majors club, Letter club, Dorm Director for Alpha Z Delta house. U. S. Navy. Served on board various ships and naval stations from October 1961 thru October 1991 to include duty during the Vietnam war, and Operation Desert Storm. Attained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4 before retiring.
