Fourteen years as an Enlisted Missile Technician working with Poseidon and Trident missiles on Fleet Ballistic Submarines. Later commissioned as a Navy Supply Corps Officer and then serving nine more years in the submarine service as Department Head. .

Michael Brown

6 Years active duty (92-98)- Nuclear Machinists' Mate on Ballistic Missile (Ohio class) submarines.
I then joined the Navy Reserves in 1998 and am still serving today. In September 2010 I transitioned from being enlisted to a commissioned officer- now serving in the Naval Civil Engineering Corps and am the officer in charge of a NMCB-26 (Seabee) detachment in Toledo, OH.
Note that I attended Eden up until 8th grade, but graduated from Falconer, NY. I plan to attend Eden's 20-yr class reunion.

I spent 16 years fixing airplanes and about 4 years doing Occupational Therapy. I met my husband in the Air Force and had two children while in. Now both of my kids are in the Air Force.

I left for boot camp in October of 1974 after an Associates Degree from ECC North. Spent 4 years in aviation field. I married while on active duty in 1975 and had a son soon after. Left active duty in 1978 but remained in the reserves for 17 more years and 3 more kids! At age 60 I started collecting retirement pay for all the years and weekends away from family.
