Claire was the first female drum major at Eastside High. She joined the Woman Marines in 1943 and went to Hunter College in NY for boot camp. Sadly she passed January 2013 at the age of 90 still proud of Eastside High and the Marines. Such an interesting driven head strong woman and mother!

Our Eastside High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Eastside High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
