Claire Dorothy Weis (married Cummings)
Class of 1939
Marine Corps, 2 Years
Claire was the first female drum major at Eastside High. She joined the Woman Marines in 1943 and went to Hunter College in NY for boot camp. Sadly she passed January 2013 at the age of 90 still proud of Eastside High and the Marines. Such an interesting driven head strong woman and mother!
