About	Timothy B. HANEY, 33, of 1710 Carlisle Road, Lower Allen Township, Camp Hill, formerly of Easton, died Sunday in an accident on Interstate 81 in Lower Paxton Township. State police at Harrisburg said Haney was killed around 4:45 p.m. when a tractor trailer jackknifed and slid across a medial strip, striking his car. Haney was the husband of Patty (Briggs) Haney. He was an assistant U.S. attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in Harrisburg. Born in Easton, he was a son of Kathryn Haney of Easton and the late Paul Haney. A 1972 graduate of Easton Area High School, he received his bachelor of arts degree from Pennsylvania State University in 1976 and a juris doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in Boston in 1979. Haney served in the Navy and Naval Reserves. Survivors: Wife and mother; sons, Michael B. and Peter B., both at home, and a brother Thomas of Yorktown, N.Y.
