About	Cay L. Baleshta, 56, died at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011, at her sister's home in Spring Garden Township, York. Born August 3, 1954, in Easton, a daughter of the late Harry and A. Joyce (Mearhoff) Baleshta, she was a 1974 graduate of Northampton Community College, where she received an Associate Degree; a 1976 graduate of Penn State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree; and a 1979 graduate of West Los Angeles, School of Paralegal Studies. She played varsity basketball at Easton High School, Northampton Community College, and Penn State University. She was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Penn State University. Miss Baleshta is survived by her sister, Kerry J. Seibert and her husband Craig, of Martins Creek; a nephew, Eric Hamme of Silver Spring, Md.; and three nieces, Ashley Shaub, Alexa Sheaffer, and Caylee Sheaffer, all of York. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lee A. Sheaffer, who died Saturday, March 12, 2011. A combined funeral service for Cay and her sister, Lee A. Sheaffer, will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Christ Lutheran Church, 29 S. George St., York. Viewing for both will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Kuhner Associates Funeral Directors, Inc., 863 S. George St., York (the former Hahn Home). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for the benefit of Alexa and Caylee Sheaffer.
