| About | Robin Leslie Griffin, 75, of West Pittston, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2026, at Toms River Community Medical Center. Born May 5, 1950, in Easton, he was the son of the late Howard A. and Pearl (Acker) Griffin. He graduated from Easton High School in 1968, where he was senior class president and the MVP for the Thanksgiving Day Game of 1966. Robin earned his B.A. in liberal arts from Syracuse University. He was a member of the Syracuse Football Club from 1968 to 1971. In 1972, after a stint with the Dallas Cowboys, he became a systems engineer. Robin was a member of Green Pastures Community Church in Easton and First Congregational Church in West Pittston. As a member of Gideon's International in Virginia, Robin helped distribute Bibles and share the Gospel. In addition to his parents, Robin was preceded in death by his brothers, Howard Jr., Harold, and Michael Griffin. Robin is survived by his loving wife, Sharon (Werkheiser) Griffin; daughter, April Jenkins and her husband, Eric, of Richmond, Texas; stepdaughter, Kathrine Sheplavy and her husband, Gary, of Philadelphia; stepson, Mark Edgar, of Austin, Texas; brother, Don Griffin and his wife, Brenda, of Easton; sister, Tanya Brown and her husband, Dennis, of Easton; and grandchild, Morgan Jenkins. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Morello Funeral Home Inc., 3720 Nicholas St., Easton, (Palmer Township). A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., with committal prayers at noon, at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Robin's name to Green Pastures Community Church, 28 N. 10th St., Easton, Pa. 18042, or First Congregational Church, 500 Luzerne Ave., West Pittston, Pa. 18643.
