About	Elber O. Swinson, Jr., 63, of Freemansburg, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Phyllis (Littlejohn) Swinson. Born January 30, 1951, in Easton, he was the son of the late Elber, Sr. and Katherine (Rickert) Swinson. A 1968 graduate of Easton High School, Elber honorably served his country in the U. S. Army during the Viet Nam War. He began his career in 1972 at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Inc., which later became DSM Nutritional Products, LLS, from which he retired last May. He was an avid motorcylist traveling throughout the United States. Survivors: Wife, Phyllis; daughters, Jennifer (Brian) Schultz in Switzerland, Amy (Charles) Binkley of Effort and Heather (Jamie) Yeager of Bethlehem; step-daughter, Christine (Keith) Oldt of Fogelsville; step-son, Marc (Jessica) Palumbo of Seattle, WA; and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Peggy Ann Beegle. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, March 22, in the Pearson Funeral Home, 1901 Linden Street, Bethlehem. Family and friends may call 6 - 8 p.m. Friday.
