About	Brenda Joyce Lake, 73, of Wilson Borough, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born March 25, 1950, in Easton, PA, she was a daughter of the late Aza Morris Lake, Jr. and Geraldine Mae (Heiselmeyer) Lake Weidlick. She graduated from Easton Area High School Class of 1968. Brenda retired as a nurse's aide and activities assistant in 2005 from Eastwood Nursing Home where she worked for 35 years. After retirement, she worked for Old Orchard Healthcare Center. She enjoyed reading, Facebook, and coffee at Tic-Toc Family Restaurant. Brenda was a former member of The Ambassador Club, Palmer Township. Surviving are three sons, Thomas G. Smith, Jr., of Palmer Township, Scott T. Smith and his fiancée Lisa Weidaw, of Wind Gap and Shawn M. Smith, of Easton; a brother, Bruce Lake and his wife Shelley, of Palmer Township; five grandchildren, Ashton, Abbey and Griffin Smith, Leah and Madeline Conant; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie F. Weidlick. Private arrangements are under the direction of the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., Wilson Borough.
