About | Donald J. Green, 69, of Tatamy, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 17, 2016, with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Barbara D. (Bruch) Green. They observed their 48th wedding anniversary on August 26. Born in Wilson Borough on November 06, 1947, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Kaniper) Green and stepson of the late Rose (Pelligrino) Green. After graduating from Easton High School in 1968, Donald honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring, he was employed by MCS Industries for 9 years and SI Handling for 35 years, both of Forks Township, where he worked as a forklift operator. Donald also served as a Lieutenant of Tatamy Volunteer Fire Co., and later as Assistant Chief before retiring as a lifetime member. He was a talented craftsman and passionate about woodworking. Donald was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of Tatamy. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife, Barbara, he is survived by two daughters, Karen Kuhn and her husband, John of Manheim and Deborah Kravatz and her husband, Christopher of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Jordan, Keegan and Elliana; three sisters, Ruth Smith and her husband, Dan of Washington Township, Patricia Graves of Easton, and Maryann Warmkessel of Washington Township; along with many nieces and nephews. Donald was predeceased by a sister, Brenda Guarry. Services: will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 11:00 A.M. in Hope Lutheran Church, 240 S. 8th Street, Tatamy, PA 18085. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in the church. Interment, with Military Honors, will follow in Plainfield Cemetery, Plainfield Township. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
