About	William Francis EDWARDS, Jr. 67, of Palmer Twp., Pa., entered the kingdom of Heaven on December 24, 2021, after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on July 31, 1954, in Easton, Pa., son of the late William Francis, Sr., and Wanda Joan Szymankowski Edwards. He was the loving husband of Linda Castrovinci Edwards with whom he celebrated his 42nd wedding anniversary on April 21, 2021. Bill attended St. Jane's Elementary School and Easton Area High School before enlisting in the Naval Reserve where he served aboard the USS Talbot (DDG-4). He was a member of the American Legion for 35 years. He worked in custodial/maintenance for the Easton Area School District for 37 years before retiring in 2017. Besides his devoted wife Linda, he is survived by his beloved dog Bella, his brother James Edwards (Beth) of Pottstown, Pa., his sister, Elaine Edwards (Tony Beck) of Williams Twp., Pa., his sister Susan Edwards of Bangor, Pa., and many wonderful nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Bill had a quick wit and was always able to fill the room with laughter. He was predeceased by his parents, and his sister Diane Parente. Services will be announced at a later date. The Finegan Funeral Home, Palmer Twp. has been entrusted with his arrangements.
