About	Wanda K. Boyer, 68, of Centre Twp., passed away in her residence on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She was the wife of John D. Boyer. They were married on June 19, 1971, and celebrated forty-seven years of marriage. Born in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late George and Josephine (Bousum) Kopp. Wanda was a 1968 graduate of Easton High School and a 1971 graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. She first worked as a nurse at the Palmerton Hospital. She was also a foster parent for ten years; and last worked for ten years as a cashier in the cafeteria of Schuylkill Valley High School. Wanda was very proud to be a stay-at-home mom. She was an active member of Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, Centre Twp. Surviving in addition to her husband are her children: Timothy E. Boyer, and his wife, Jacqueline (Nigglio-Sukon) Boyer, Auburn, Louis A. Boyer, Pine Grove, Amy L. (Boyer), wife of Jeffrey Searfoss, Mohrsville, and Christina A. (Boyer), wife of Steven Bare, Reading; nine grandchildren: Abigail, Nathan, Joshua, Rebekah, Ruth, Brendan, Zackary, Caitlyn and Isabella. Wanda is also survived by a brother, Allen W. Kopp, and his wife Debra, Greensboro, North Carolina. Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. from Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, 1542 Shoey Road, Mohrsville, PA 19541. Burial will follow in Viewpoint Cemetery, Centre Twp. A viewing will be held in the church Monday 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Mohrsville Church of the Brethren, Deacon's Fund, to help with those in need, at the above address or Schuylkill Valley Community Library, to purchase Christian fiction books, 1310 Washington Road, Leesport, PA 19533.
