About | Robert Charles Knibbs Sr., 67, of Easton, PA passed away Saturday, February 4th, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Bob was born on November 17th, 1949 in Easton, PA a son of the late William Penrose Knibbs Sr. and Jean Cole. Bob was employed by the Pfizer Corporation in Easton for 29 years as a laborer and fork lift operator. Later, he moved on to the Easton Suburban Water Authority where he was employed as a service technician for 14 years. Bob was a graduate of Easton Area High School class of 1968 where he played football for several years. He was an avid bowler, fisherman, and most importantly a family man. He loved his family with all his heart and was surrounded by them continuously during his three and a half year battle with cancer. He enjoyed vacationing with his family in Wildwood and Cape May, New Jersey. Bob is survived by his loving wife, the former Terry A. Bonstein with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage last year. In addition to his wife he is survived by his loving children Kristine Sloggett, Ryan, and wife Abby, Robert Jr., and grandson Tyler Faur, whom he loved very dearly. He is also survived by his sister Donna Beers and preceded in death by his brother William Knibbs. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 6pm until 8pm and also Wednesday from 10am until 11am in the Morello Funeral Home, Inc. 3720 Nicholas Street, (Palmer Twp.) Easton, Pa. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11am in the funeral home. Interment will take place in Northampton Memorial Shrine. Online condolences may be offered at MorelloFuneralHome.com.
