Born in Easton, he was a son of Duane and Nancy (Waltz) Hartzell of Wilson Borough. He and his wife, the former Cynthia Hyndshaw celebrated their 45th anniversary on February 24, 2014. He has been employed by the USDA as a safety inspector for the past 30 plus years. A 1968 graduate of Easton High School, he loved hunting, boating, fishing and the Brookwood Lodge. Barry is survived by his parents; his wife; son Brad of Palmer Twp.; brothers, Dennis and Daniel of Palmer Twp.; sister, Gloria Hagenbuch of Williams Twp. and 2 grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Barry T. Services February 3, Ashton Funeral Home, 1337 Northampton St., Easton, Interment, Northampton Memorial Shrine.
