About | Terry S. Foulk, 68, of Forks Township, PA, passed away peacefully Monday, July 2, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospice House, surrounded by family and friends. Born May 24, 1950 in Wilson Borough, PA, he was a son of the late Morgan "Duke" Foulk and Lois (Scott) Foulk, and step-son of the late Betty Lee Foulk. He and his wife, Nancy J. (Crouse) Foulk, celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary on Oct. 6, 2017. Terry was a 1968 graduate of Easton Area High School and served with the Navy during the Vietnam War. In 1988 he received an associate's degree in Applied Science in Fire Technology from Northampton Community College. He retired in December 2005 as deputy chief from the City of Easton Fire Department, where he worked for 31 years, rising in the ranks from firefighter to lieutenant in 1989 and captain in 1992. After retirement, he worked for the City of Easton Codes Office as the fire inspector for 10 years. In 1982 the Easton Area Jaycees named Terry "Outstanding Young Firefighter." In 1984 Terry and another firefighter rescued a man, for which he received local and national recognition. Terry was named "Fire Fighter of the Year" in 1988. He received the Alfred H. Redles Award from the Burn Prevention Foundation in 1996. Terry loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going out to dinner with friends, tinkering in his workshop, doing yard work and sitting on the porch during his annual trips to Cape May. Terry worked on the fire safety team at Nazareth Speedway. He enjoyed watching the Phillies, Penn State and racing. He was also a Civil War buff. He was a life member of the Easton Emergency Squad. Terry was a member of Safety First Volunteer Fire Company, Wilson Boro Republican Club, Third Class City Fire Chiefs Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs, International Association of Arson Investigators and International Association of Fire Fighters Local 713. Surviving, in addition to his wife, Nancy, are a son, Daniel S. Foulk and his wife, Melissa, of Phillipsburg, NJ; a daughter, Lindsey J. Foulk and her partner, Bobby Cahill, of Forks Township; a brother, Brian R. Foulk and his wife, Robin, of Bushkill Township, PA; two grandchildren, Miles and Norah Foulk; a nephew, Kristopher Foulk and his wife, Beth; and a niece, Heather Young and her husband, Evan. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Strunk Funeral Home, Inc., 2101 Northampton St., Wilson Borough. Call Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the funeral home.
