About	Joseph James Calandra, Jr. passed away after an illness at the home he shared in NC with his loving companion, Betty Rowe on March 26, 2015 at the age of 64, in New Bern, NC. Born June 2, 1950, in Easton, PA to Joseph J. Calandra, Sr., and Nora (Tooma) Calandra. Joe had a humor that would make everyone laugh with his endless stream of jokes and wit. He loved to boat, fish and enjoy the beach. He worked for the City of Easton prior to moving to North Carolina where he retired from The City of New Bern. He served in the Navy in the Vietnam War on the USS Enterprise. Joe is survived by his daughters, Jamie Tracy, of Nazareth, PA; Paula Fisher and husband, Jimmy of Lehighton, PA; and his son Joseph J. Calandra III and fiance Liza Stankowski of Allentown, PA. He also leaves brothers, Raymond Calandra and wife, Marjorie of Ocean Pines, MD; Thomas Calandra and wife, Michelle of Stroudsburg; a sister, Kathy Kimble and husband, Charles of Nazareth, PA; and two grandchildren, Jason Tracy and Aaliyah Fisher. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Joseph J. Calandra, Sr. and Nora (Tooma) Calandra. A private burial will be held at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Pennsylvania.
