| Favorite School Memory | I spent my whole childhood in Afton, but only attended EUHS for 3 months of my freshman year. That left me with some memories of one year of baseball, a season of cross-country (although I'm not sure many people even knew we had a team), and the fall musical, No No Nanette. Most of my memories are at Arispe elementary or running around the streets of Afton doing typical small-town kid stuff- hanging out with Brent Tucker, playing pool at Mike Sickels' house, and watching Charlie's Angels with Mick Landers. | About Me | After we moved to Des Moines during my freshman year, I attended East High School. After East, I had 4 great years at Central in Pella. For the next 20 years, I worked in several places in Iowa and Illinois, mostly with youth. That took me on a lot of interesting trips around the U.S., Mexico, Ecuador, and Panama. Then I spent a few years with Leadership Resources, an organization that trains leaders around the world. I traveled overseas training 3-4 times/year (places like China, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Vietnam, indonesia, Tanzania, Kenya, and Ethiopia) and spent the rest of my time networking in the US.
