This is the Obituary that my mother sent me:
Todd E. Stauffer of Des Moines, passed away of carbon monoxide poisoning on March 9, 1999 at his father's farm home, southwest of Indianola, at the age of 35.
Todd, the son of Edwin and Judith Stauffer, was born in Fort Dodge. He lived in Keystone and Afton, before moving to Des Moines 13 years ago. He was employed as a boilermaker for Pittsburgh Des MoinesSteel, making tanks and water towers.
Services were held March 13, at the Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. The body was cremated after the services.
