Home in Ankeny, IA, at time of death. Previous home in Marshalltown, IA. As a child, her family lived on a farm southeast of Arispe, IA. Linda attended school first at Arispe, IA. It then merged with other area schools to form East Union Community School of Afton, IA where she graduated in 1962. She then Darrel "Ed" Long and had two children with him, though they later divorced. Later she met James Klaas and they were married in Marshalltown Iowa on February 19,1991. They lived in Marshalltown until later moving to Ankeny, Iowa
