Class of 1975
Coast Guard, 20+ Years
After graduation from East Rowan I went into the US Coast Guard with the plan to stay 4 years and then use the GI bill for school. 20 years later I found myself in a very good position to retire at 39 years old. So in 1995 I retired and went to work for Volvo Penta in Cheaspeake Virginia. I worked here until 2004 when I moved to the headquarters office in Gothenburg Sweden where I am still today. In these two jobs since 1975, I have traveled to 45 countries, where have you been since graduation?
