Greg Lloyd Jr., born on February 10, 1989, hails from Fayetteville, Georgia. He attended East Ridge High School in Clermont, Florida, before making his mark in the sports world as a professional American football player. Lloyd Jr. pursued his collegiate career at the University of Connecticut, playing as a linebacker.

His talent didn't go unnoticed, and he was drafted in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. After initially being released, he was re-signed to the team's practice squad and later promoted to the active roster.

In 2012, Lloyd Jr. was traded to the Indianapolis Colts along with Moise Fokou in exchange for Kevin Thomas and a conditional seventh-round draft pick. Unfortunately, his stint with the Colts was short-lived as he was waived during the final roster cuts later that year.
