I am a reserve force or back up plan for the regular army. I do one weekend a month at the army reserve station off westover st in charlotte. We are currently deployed in Southern Iraq now. We are a postal platoon so we are responsible for picking up and delivering all the soldiers mail located in S.Iraq.

Vietnam War as a rifle platoon leader, served in the 199th Infantry Bde. Currently teach a class on the Vietnam War at Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, GA. Volunteer with the USO to give servicemen and women going to and from Iraq and Afghanistan a sincere send-off or a warm welcome home; I don't want any more stories like we had to put up with 40+ years ago.
