Navy, 7 Years
Served from May 2001 to September 2008. Did 3 tours in the Persian Gulf including the 2001 Iron man cruise on board USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN 71. Will be medically discharged on September 29th.

Sarah Dronen
Class of 2003
National Guard, 6 Years
Sarah served a 22 month deployment. 6 months were spent at Ft. Shelby Mississippi for training and 15 months in Iraq. Sarah earned an Army Commendation medal for her service. She will graduate in May 2010 from UMD with a major in Psychology and minor in Communications and a coaching certificate. Sarah is scheduled to deploy to Iraq in the fall of 2010.
