Ben passed away from Prostate Cancer on January 8, 2015. Coach Ben Wright: Saturday, January 10, 2015, Coach Ben Wright, beloved brother, mentor, and friend, went to his eternal rest on January 8, 2015, in Manassas, VA. Ben provided inspiration, leadership and guidance to generations of young men and women, and will be fondly remembered by the thousands whose lives he influenced.... Friends may call at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., Frederick, MD 21701, on Saturday, January 17, from 2 to 7 p.m. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 18, from Bethesda United Methodist Church, 11901 Bethesda Church Road, Damascus, MD 20872, with his pastor, the Rev. Dr. Henry G. Butler, officiating. Interment will be in Bethesda United Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Thomas Johnson HS Patriots Boosters Inc. Capital Campaign.
