I just retired last year after working full-time since the age of 19. My career included working as a legal secretary and paralegal for many years until I finally started a full-time teaching position in 1992. I taught in private schools, obtained an M.Ed in Education Administration then served three years as a principal. I taught 12 years in Metro Nashville Public Schools which included 8 years as a reading specialist. It was time to stop last year and travel! I've been to Germany, Switzerland, Holland, most everywhere in the U.S. I'm active in the Literacy Association of Tennessee as well as Aloha Delta Kappa education sorority. I love keeping up with former classmates!
