To The DCS Class of 1970:
Here we go again, a little Deja Vu writing this update letter.
The Reunion Committee has again discussed the possibility of having our makeup Class reunion this summer (2023) and has come to the following conclusion.
The Reunion this summer will be cancelled. We’ve decided to just wait the additional 18 months and have the 50th/55th reunion summer of 2025. We took into consideration new covid variances, and how some might still be leery of exposure.
We hope this communication finds all in good health and wishing all a Happy New Year.

To The DCS Class of 1970:
The Reunion Committee has discussed the possibility of having our makeup Class reunion this summer (2021) and has come to the following conclusion.
The Reunion will again be postponed for another year, until summer of 2022. We took into consideration the progress of the vaccination, the need to plan travel in uncertain times, and how some might still be leery of contact so soon after vaccination.
We have also had contact with the Class of 1971 and were going to plan some common events. We still might if they also decide to postpone, which I think they will.
We hope this communication finds all in good health and wishing all a Happy New Year.

August 7th 5 Pm - til??? at Hopshire Brewery on 1771 Dryden Rd., Freeville, across from the Covenant Love Community Church. Food and beverage available for purchase and a live band is provided by Brewery.
August 8th noon - til??? catered picnic at Shirley's 287 George Rd., Freeville. Pricing is being determined and a flyer will be coming out with details.

Then we hope everyone can join us Saturday, the 9th at 2pm for a backyard BBQ picnic style party. Food/drinks, yard games, door prizes, memories, and making history! Family welcome! The food/drink tickets for Saturday will be 15$ adults and 7$ for kids over 5. Includes hamburgers, hot dogs,sausage, pasta salad, baked beans, potato salad, fruit and veggie trays, cake, and beverages,(beer, water, soda).

The undefeated (7-0-1) 1969 IAC Football Champions from Dryden High School will be honored at a special half time ceremony as the Dryden Lions host the Waverly Wolverines. On Saturday, September 17th, we will continue the celebration with a Dinner at the VFW from 6 to 9:30 PM. All athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, family members, friends and fans are invited to attend. Cost: $20/person with proceeds to the Dryden High Athletic Programs' Fund.
