| About Me | I'm a Retired Navy Veteran, I Served 6 1/2 yrs. Active Navy on 4 different . Ships, made it thru 3 West Pac Deployments got visit 13 different Countries including TJ Mexico, and including 4 Countries in Europe, Toulon, Villa & Paris, France, Augusta Bay, Sicily, Athens, Greece, Rota & Ibiza, Spain. Clark AFB, Angela's City, Cubi Point, Subic Bay & Manilla, Phillippines, Pusan, Osan AFB, SEOUL & Chin Hae, South Korea, Hong Kong, Guam, Sydney Australia & Pattya Beach, Thailand. Plus been to 6 different states enroute to those 11 different countries which included Minneapolis, MN., Anchorage, Alaska, Salt Lake City, Ut., Portland, Oregon., Memphis, Tn., Atlanta, Ga. Safrancisco & Los Angela's, Ca. along with McCord AFB & Seattle, WA. Forgot Yokuska, Sasebo, and Toyoko, Japan. Stationed at Pearl Harbor Naval Base, HI. 2 yrs 80' thru 82' which was my very 1st duty station after boot camp in San Diego RTC, CA. Plus I was Stationed at San Diego Naval Base Oct. 82' thru Apr. 83' along with Norfolk, Naval Base, VA. Apr. 83' thru June 85' 1st 2 Ships Stationed at Pearl Harbor, USS PONCATOULA AO - 148, 2nd Ship USS ASHTABULA AO - 51, 3rd Ship Stationed at San Diego USS HORNE CG - 30 & 4th Ship Stationed at Norfolk, VA USS SEATTLE AOE - 3. 16 yrs I Served in the Navy Reserves in Fargo, N.D. doing the weekend Warrior thing 1 weekend a month & 2 week annual trip to Subic Bay, Phillippines, Chin Hae, South Korea, Yokosuka, Japan, Oakland Naval Supply Depot, San Diego Naval Supply Center, Naval Supply Center, Charleston, SC. & Naval Supply Center, Pensacola, Fla. 4 day training. That pretty much sums up my Navy Career before I Retired on 1 Apr. 2001. Forgot to add I Served during the Dessert Storm/ Dessert Shield Gulf War at Subic Bay, Philippines for 6 months from 31 Dec. 90' thru 16 June 91' I Retired as as a P.O.2 / E - 5 , my career field was a Storekeeper / Supply Clerk which was warehouse type work onb...(read more) |
