Full Retired in 1995 with 18 years service as part of the Peace Dividend draw-down.

Served during the Vietnam Era. Completed one tour each in both Germany (Stratcom) at Pirmasens and Viet Nam (101st Airborne Division in 1969) at Camp Eagle near Hue received the Bronze Star and the Army commendation Medals, Later served 2 years at Fort Knox KY with the 194th Armored Brigade. finished the Army as an E-5 then worked at Ft Knox as a Federal Butcher for nearly 10 years.

I miss the lifestyle and being part of something special. But l don't miss being a political pawn by people in Wsshington who never served in uniform.

Joined the AF in May 1978. Served 11+ years on active duty as an Optometry Tech and an Air Traffic Controller at Wurtsmith AFB, MI, KI Sawyer AFB MI, Moody AFB GA, Malmstrom AFB MT. Left active duty to join the Air National Guard (Arkansas, Missouri, Florida) in Admin and Chaplain Assistant. Transferred to the AF Reserve attached to MacDill AFB and Hurlburt Fld as a Chaplain Assistant. Will retire Feb 2011 with 33 yrs total time.

Taught ROTC at Univ of S. Alabama and was installation Finance and Accounitng Officer Fort Rucker, and Controller for the US Army Military Police School

Joined 7-21-10 as an Infantryman. Went to Airborne School and graduated as a Paratrooper. Joined A CO 1-508 PIR. Deployed to Afghanistan in 2012. Joined C CO 2-124 Infantry at the beginning of 2014. Deployed to Kenya Africa in 2015-16. Joined B TRP 3-54 SFAB in 2018. Currently still serving as a Combat Advisor to train foreign soldiers so our soldiers do not have to fight. He is waiting to deploy again.
