He graduated from Deland High School and the University of Florida. He taught High School English. He played league and tournament softball and was a huge Gator fan. He moved back to Deland following his marriage to Robin in 2006. |

Very sad to learn of John’s passing. We went to school together since elementary school and we’re in the marching band together. A very gentle giant will be missed. I always look forward to see him at our Class reunions peace be with the family.
