| About Me | Attending UNM and then TV-I, I just knew that having a professional career, other than being a homemaker just wasn't for me. In 1991, I married the most wonderful man in the world ,and that my "career" dream would come true. My husband is Alan Gorenz, a Sandia High grad,1981. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always wanted to be a wife and mother--a homemaker. Along the way, however, I've had a few jobs. The longest one at a doctor's office (internal medicine), which was for twelve years. I have also worked in advertising, at French Mortuary and at Cherry Hills Library. Plus, I've done some volunteer work at the Bio Park (zoo), at my daughter's school and at Cherry Hills Library before being employed there... Unable to conceive, and having gone through fertility treatments unsuccesfully, we adopted our infant daughter at birth in August 2002. That same year, my husband's job took us to the Dallas,TX area for a period of time. Homesick as we were, and with a baby, we moved back to Albuquerque ASAP--within 18 months.
