FROM 2001-2009, LIVED IN A 100 YEAR OLD FARMHOUSE ON 3/4 OF AN ACRE IN THE VILLAGE OF ALAMEDA, NEW MEXICO ONE OF SEVERAL AREAS WHEREV MY ANCESTORS OWNED VAST SPANISH LANDGRANTS SINCE THE MID-1700s AND WAS AMONG THE SELECT FEW, PERSONALLY INVITED TO SHOW MY ARTWORK IN THE 3 MOST PRESTIGIOUS AND INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN N.M, ART EVENTS...."THE ANNUAL HARVEST FESTIVAL" IN THE VILLAGE OF CORALLES, "THE ANNUAL REGALIS" AT "THE NATIONAL HISPANIC CULTURAL CENTER" IN ALBUQUERQUE AND THE ANNUAL "SPANISH MARKET" AN INTERNATIONALLY ATTEND WEEKEND IN SANTA FE'S MAIN PLAZA FEATURING ONLY THE BEST ARTISTS DECENDING FROM THE HISPANIC-COLONIAL FAMILIES WHO BEGAN TO SETTLE IN THE KINGDOM OF NUEVO MEXICO IN 1598. I DISPLAYED MY OWN, HISTORICALLY BASED, VERSION OF THE "PRIMITIVE" "SANTA FE", INCUDING SANTOS, RETABLOS AND EVEN A 6.6' HIGH ALTAR BUILT FROM 100-150 YEAR OLD PIECES OF WOODEN DOORS & AND ANTIQUE BITS AND PIECES OF ANTIQUE FURNITURE, ETC. AND COVERED IT IN THE MOST POPULAR OLD SPANISH SAINTS. From 1992-2001..... Recognized Fine Artist in Orange County... mostly in Newport Beach for High-End Clientele.... Wall Murals, Canvases, Faux finishes on walls, floors & ceilings, painting furniture and restoration of fine painted antiques for high-end Antique Dealers & Interior Designers...Pre-Raphaelite (Italian Romance Style), Surrealist, Tromp L'oiel, Abstract Modern & Impressionist Styles.... 100% Self-Taught.... 1978-1989..... Owned two Hair Salons.... One on Lido Isle in Newport Beach & Bazan's in Sea Cliff Village in Huntington Beach.
