Tom died unexpectedly at the age of 58 in Camarillo, CA. At Del Norte, he excelled academically, played the trumpet and was a started on the basketball team. At the University of New Mexico, he received a BS in math and he went to work in Alamogordo, NM and then several companies in southern California as a systems analyst.
