| About Me | I'm one of the dangerous radical academics right-wing crazies warn you about. They shouldn't worry--few people listen to their professors anyway. Still, I plug on again the forces of evil & stupidity, not to mention cupidity becuase it's fun! I'm a mid-fiftyish academic (Ph.D. in History), associate professor at Christopher Newport Univ. in Newport News, Virginia. Born in Birmingham, England, spent childhood outside Montreal, and then Oklahoma. Have lived in rural Nebraska, which I hated, and Los Angeles, which I didn't.
