Dick fought a valiant 6+ year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Prior to that he owned a Project Management firm and was a Lieutenant on the Western Springs (IL) Fire Department. Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Kristen (Zaeske, class of '77), 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
