| About Me | Within a year from graduating high school I played with the Lexington Philharmonic and got to work with Dinah Shore.I taught at Foster Music Camp and to junior high and high school students who came to EKU. I travelled weekly to Appalachia in eastern Kentucky to teach kids and later toured Japan and taught Bass Clarinet Masterclass in Gifu. I've done a variety of things since high school. I travelled cross country with a friend for most of a year living out of a pup tent and '72 Skylark. I later returned to Cincy and became a cab driver, eventually having my own company. I returned to school once again then worked in collaboration with Hamilton County Drug Court for nearly 10 years, primarily with women as an alternative to prison. I spent a few years in graduate school working on my Masters in Counseling only to end up as an over the road truck driver before driving more local with a flatbed (yuck). My partner(who passed away in '96) and I had a son who was born in '93. Andy had been a major focus in my life. I spent a couple years in a wheelchair and nearly had my leg amputated.
