Ashore I served as the Operations Support Officer at Maritime Expeditionary Security Group TWO, the Admin Officer at Navy Operational Support Center North Island, and as a staff officer at Naval Base Coronado. Deployed 3 times in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. Achieved the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Awards include: the Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), the Combat Action Ribbon, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Ribbon (3 awards), the Expert Marksman Pistol Medal, Expert Marksman Rifle Medal, and the Battle “E” Medal (2 awards).
