Class of 1972
Air Force, 20+ Years
Joined the AF on October 31, 1974 and retired January 1, 2003. Achieved the rank of Chief Master Sergeant (E9). The service was a lifesaver for me. Anyone reading this who might be looking to join the service do it. You will learn a skill (where else can an 18 year old be given the responsibility of a $300 million piece of equipment) At the end of your first tour if you do not stay in the training you receive and the discipline you learn will ensure you are years ahead of you peers. On top of the SKILL training you receive the AF (or any service) will give you money for your education. Most of all the pride you will have at the end of your tour will be self-evident the rest of your life.

Our Davidson High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Davidson High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated.
