Navy Reserves, 20+ Years

I joined the navy reserves before I graduated, after an administrative waiting for nine months ( back ground check required for aliens ), I rated quickly after active duty and made two deployments to Viet Nam. After ten years enlisted service I took a commission and did another ten ( + ) years. I served on seven ships, three shore commands and made five deployments in the fourteen years of total active duty. It was a great life and experience that can hardly be matched elsewhere.
