About Event
The theme for the 2024 DBHS 1970's Reunion is "The Roaring 20's/Great Gatsby". As always, participation is not mandatory.
Please join us at the Birdsboro Fire Company located at 214 W 1st St, Birdsboro, PA on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024 for the 14th annual Daniel Boone 1970's Reunion. This year, the class of 1979 is celebrating their 45th and the class of 1974 is celebrating their 50th.
PLEASE NOTE: ANYONE WHO ATTENDED AND WOULD HAVE GRADUATED ANYTIME IN THE 70'S IS INVITED TO ATTEND.
The cost per person $48.00. Checks made payable to "The Daniel Boone 1970's Reunion" and mailed to DBHS 1970's Reunion, c/o Cindy Lafferty Kennedy, 521 W Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606.
*****All checks MUST be received by November 9th. If you are married, PLEASE include your maiden name, and EVERYONE PLEASE include your graduation year(s) on your checks.*****

The catering this year will be done by Friendship Fire Company's in-house catering, by Russell Shaner and Sara. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions concerning the menu. I will put you in touch with Russell.
The menu will be as follows:
Caesar Salad with Caesar or Ranch dressing
Tuscan Chicken in a Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce
Sliced Beef Tenderloin in Mushroom Gravy
Pasta Primavera
Green Been Almondine
Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Fall Squash Medley
Fresh Dinner Rolls and Butter
Soda, coffee and tea are included. A full cash bar will be available as well a 16 oz draft beer (a light beer or lager) $3.00.
Meet & Mingle - 5:30 - 6:15 (There will not be music playing at this time)
Welcome Announcements - 6:15
Buffet starting @ 6:30
Class Photos beginning @ 7:15
Dancing 7:30 - 10:30
We will be selling 50/50 tickets again this year.
Extra/overflow parking is available on the far side of Birdsboro Beverage.

On 09/13/2024 I received a check from David Wright/’74 and a check from Ed Gajewski/’74
On 09/14/2024 I received a check from Bill Barbary/’73 and Debra Guensch/’73. I also received a check from Tim Downs/’73
To date, we have seventeen confirmed paid attendees. I am happy to say 8 are from the Class of 1974 for our 50th Reunion. Keep spreading the word about the reunion and keep those checks coming.
As a reminder, the reunion is being held at the Birdsboro Fire Company on November 23rd beginning at 5:30 PM. The cost is $48/pp. The deadline for checks on November 9th.
