About Event

Please join us at the Birdsboro Fire Company for the 11th year (minus 1) celebrating the 1970’s Alumni of Daniel Boone High School on Saturday, November 20th, 2021.

This year, the classes of 1971 and 1976 are celebrating their 50th and 45th reunions respectively. Since we could not celebrate last year, we are also giving a shout out to the classes of 1970 and 1975, celebrating their 50th and 45th reunions respectively.

PLEASE NOTE: ANYONE WHO ATTENDED OR GRADUATED ANYTIME FROM 1970-1979 IS INVITED TO ATTEND.

The cost per person will be $40.00 again this year. Checks MUST be made payable to “The Daniel Boone 1970’s Reunion and sent to DBHS 1970’s Reunion, c/o Cindy Lafferty Surran, 521 W Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the state of the state with the pandemic, no checks will be deposited until the beginning of November. We should know by then if we have to cancel. In the event we do cancel, your check will be shredded and I will send you a confirmation email informing you.

***All checks MUST be received by November 5th, 2021. Please include maiden name (if married) and graduation year(s). PLEASE NOTE, we WILL NOT be taking ANY payments at the door.***

The evening will begin at 5:30 PM with a 45 minute meet, mingle and reacquaint. Welcoming announcements and the blessing will begin promptly at 6:15 PM. A buffet dinner will begin at 6:30 PM and will include Roast Beef au jus, Stuffed Chicken Breast, Vegetarian Lasagna, corn, honey glazed carrots, Cole slaw, rolls, butter, coffee and desserts. Soda is included in the cost of the evening. Again this year, there will be a full cash bar. Beer is $2.00/16 oz glass, $5.00/pitcher. Wine and mixed drinks will also be available at various costs.

Music will again be provided by Class of ‘74 alum Richard Weilacher of TGB Entertainment. Dancing will begin at approximately 7:30 PM and continue until 11:30 PM. Class photos will be taken starting at approximately 7:30 PM. Please listen for your class to be called, and watch for your class poster to be displayed.

Since were unable to party last year, the Crüe is especially excited to see everyone. We are hoping for an EXCEPTIONAL turnout, and look forward to another fun and exciting year. At this point, masks are optional. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, then feel free to do so.
