About Me	After OJT at CarTech, I attended York College of PA. In 1971, I was the Executive Secretary to the Vice President of Caloric Corp, Topton,PA. I joined the AF and qualified in electronics to be a flight engineer but got stuck in aircraft maintenance on a KC-135 tanker from 1973-77. Had many travels and interesting work as an aircraft mechanic. I met my husband, Brad, off-base running the highest volume Circle K convenience store in Sacramento. After the Air Force, I went back to office work as a certified secretary to the President of the Construction & General Laborers Union. Got married in 1979. We started Picture Perfect Antenna Service in 1979; I sold the jobs and Brad performed the work. We grew to 3 trucks and did antenna work for all the Sears, Montgomery Ward, Circuit City and Good Guys plus a few private TV shops in town.....until cable came to town. EEK....three children and costing more each year. What to do? Brad and we started Data Support Services in 1987, a healthcare business solution company providing hardware, software, training & support for physicians to do billing inhouse when Calif Medi-Cal first went to electronic claims. Brad's mother worked as a claims examiner for Cal West Life Ins and knew how to pay a claim; therefore, we knew how to put a claim out to the insurance to be paid. So our business evolved into a personalized, custom,full-service billing service which we now do for 14 physicians and surgeons in the Sacramento area. We are still in the billing business; however, I also have been approached to start my "Real World Billing" school - I really love to teach & train. I was elected to the Advisiory Board for BIlling and Coding at both Heald College and High-Tech institutes last year. I allow their graduates to complete their externship at my business and have been approached to revamp their medical billing curriculum. I have just been inducted into the Presidental Who's Who in Professional & Business Achievement for 2009-2010.
