| About Me | I guarantee most folks know me/remember me as the one who went around the hallways at a New Yorker's pace with a New Yorker's attitude via a rolling suitcase, "Damn the pedestrians, full speed ahead!" Joined the USMC and graduated boot camp about a month after the rest of my class formally graduated high school. After combat training and job school I went to my first duty station as a musician in Okinawa, Japan in March of 2007. By the time I left there to go to 29 Palms, CA in February 2009 I had been to South Korea twice, all over Japan (as far north as Misawa, and as far south as the island of Iwo Jima), the Philippines, the Kwajalein Islands, Tarawa (Kiribati Islands), and Guam. I finished my first enlistment in 29 Palms and went all over California, Oregon, Wisconsin, Illinois (Marine Week in Chicago), Arizona, Nevada (yes I've been to Las Vegas), and Colorado. After I got out I went back to Danbury and stuck around for five years. During those five I went through and graduated WestConn with a BM in Music Performance, Classical, worked mostly as a security officer and shift lead in New Milford, and did some work as an NRA Instructor, an armorer, and Range Safety Officer. I re-met and got married to another DHS graduate, and in August 2015 I reenlisted back into the Marine Corps as a musician. By November I was at New Orleans. I loved the food down there as well as my chain of command and other parts of my job. I got into a very bad car accident in April 2016. I lost control of the car, tumbled six times, and fell off the bridge I was on. The drop I am told was 100 feet. After New Orleans I went to the band in Cherry Point, NC in 2018. In late 2021 I transferred to the US Army and was assigned to the 77th Army Band in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Right before they got deactivated I transferred to the TRADOC Band in Fort Eustis, Virginia. After they also deactivated I go...(read more) |
