Hello Great CRHS Class of 1978!
Yes!!! It’s been 45 years since we graduated from High School. We hope the years have been filled with much love, joy and peace.
Plans are in the works for our 45-Year Reunion. The tentative date is August 4-5, 2023. During our last reunion, the class decided to have the reunion at the same location “Rumor’s of Crystal River” (Crystal River Golf Club), unfortunately that facility has closed. We are exploring other options in Crystal River and will confirm as soon as possible. If you have any suggestions, please send them to me.
We try our best to be cost effective. In the spirit of transparency, Rumors’ cost of $35/person was blessing and we were able to host our 40-Year reunion for $45 per person. The remaining $10/person was used for the cake, DJ, decorations, and door prizes/giveaways. As we explore other locations, we expect a significant increase in the per person amount given the state of our economy now. I know we all have experienced the rising cost of food and other products and services. Thank you in advance for understanding.
All notifications and information will be done electronically via email and social media (CRHS Alumni website, Classmates.com, and Facebook). If you know of someone who does not have the electronic capability, please contact me. We will make sure the information gets to them via US mail.

This 40th class reunion will happen around the same time as the Homecoming Football game (7 pm kickoff) for CRHS 2017 (there will be a charge for tickets and possibly parking).There is going to be an "Alumni" tent set up at one end of the football field for all CRHS Alumni to visit and reunite and have some food and beverage. We would like for all to attend the game on Friday Oct 20, 2017. (We will have a banner to mark a spot for us all to sit together at the top of the stands) and then on Saturday Oct 21, 2017 we will all meet at Hunter Springs (American-Legion Beach) for a (bring your own) picnic lunch (11 AM - 2 PM- pavilion reserved). Saturday evening ~ 6PM-10 PM we will have an "informal" get together at the Crystal River Golf Club and Rumors Bar & Bistro - first a gathering at the Rumors bar ( for cocktail hour) ~ 6 PM and then inside for a "pay your own way" buffet dinner (pay at the door $15 (tax and gratuity included) from 7-8PM and then a DJ with music to dance to from 8-10 PM. Sunday if you would like to get together for a breakfast before you head back home we can arrange this during Saturday's get together.

Saturday will be a cookout, which will most likely blend to an evening of hanging out in the Barn. Sunday we will gather for the farewell breakfast. Come on! Join us - it will be just like the old days. We may look different on the outside, but we have the same stuff inside!

It is currently under construction and the use of the cafeteria has been questionable...but is looking good right now. I will let everyone know for sure the status of that as soon as I get word from the school. The plan is for a simple, relaxing farewell meet up while enjoying donuts, bagels, etc. This food will actually be donated to our reunion by an awesome grocery manager. The beverages (OJ, Cofee, Milk,etc) will be the only cost here. If use of the school falls through, we can still get together elsewhere and enjoy a quick breakfast before heading our separate ways... PRICING: Each Event Has Different Pricing. You Will only Need To Pay For Those Events You Are Able To Attend (hopefully all of course).
