About Me	After graduating and taking professional exams, my husband and I traveled the West in a van for 6 months, 22,000 miles, not including a barge trip for the van from Anchorage, AK, to Seattle, WA. We then settled down in Las Vegas, of all places, and began our careers. With the birth of two sons, our backpacking and hiking days were changed, but we still did the outdoors activities that we loved. We then began riding bicycles and took several multi-day trips. In 2000, I suffered a cerebral bleeding aneurysm that almost ended my experiences for good. Fortunately, with the help and love from my husband, I have returned to an "almost normal" level.
