Heidi Alvarez, born Diane Jean Baxter, age 76, passed away September 28, 2023 in her home in Central Point, Oregon. She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by love.
Heidi was born December 14, 1946 in San Diego, California to parents Harold and Harriet Baxter; later becoming beloved daughter to stepfather George Chamberlin. Heidi married first husband Don MacFarlane in San Diego in 1966. With her second husband and kindred spirit David Alvarez, she shared nearly forty years of happiness and life adventures.
She is survived by sister Anne; nephew Chris; nieces Julie and Jennifer; great niece Raeanne; step children Steve, Terri, and Mick; and grandchildren Melisa, Paigge, Remy, and Blair. Many other family and friends, too numerous to note, will miss her dearly.
