I was recruited out of Infantry Training School to try out for the indoctrination program at 1st Recon Bn. I passed the indoc and was with the Battalion for 3 1/2 years in Bravo and Charlie Companies. I complete Amphibious Reconnaissance School, US Navy Scuba School, US Army Airborne School, US Ary Jungle Expert (Panama), US Navy Jungle Expert (Philippines), USMC Mountain Warfare (Cold Weather), SERE and a few others. Did West Pacific (Westpac) tour on the USS Tarawa visiting Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, Alaska, Thailand and the Philippines.

I've been serving in the Army for the past 15 year. Been stationed in Fort Knox, KY, Korea, Germany (where my son was born), Fort Irwin, CA, Hawaii, I recruited in Ontario, CA, and now I'm stationed in Fort Gordon, GA. My focus has been in communications, but these last two years I switched gears and have been training Soldiers in Resiliency. Helping Soldiers deal with the stressors of deployments or the stress of their day to day lives.

This one here has been in the Army since 1999 and has been deployed all over the place. He is currentlly serving in Iraq again. He has been with the 82nd airborne, 1st armored division, 25th infantry division. He has been injured while doing his job, and still remains to support freedom

Served about the USS Cape Cod AD-43. Member of the Deck Department (listened to my recruiter who told me I would be able to change career field after boot camp). Had a blast - did two West Pac tours. Completed Amphibious Boat Handling training. Participated in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Crossed the equator twice (once as a wog and then as a SHELLBACK!

I was in the Submarine Service. I was selected out of Electronics B School, after completing "A". I was taken off Subs for "Special Ops", which I continued after my Discharge. Very interesting vocation! I acquired two levels above "Top Secret", to perform my duties in the "ONI".
