Mary Kathleen Riedel

Class of 1969

I married 1968 CDM grad Jim Riedel in 1971 midway through my SDSU college experience. We’ve been married for almost 48 years and enjoy our four children and their growing families; we have 10 grandchildren. After living in the San Diego area for years, we moved our family to Monterey, Ca. In 1989 where I continued my teaching career. I taught middle school Special Education students from 1975 - 2005, earned my school admin credentials, then retired in 2011 as a middle school principal. Jim and I, now both retired, enjoy traveling and being with our brood. I volunteer at a local hospital and supervise Brandman University student teachers. My life is full and happy; wouldn’t change a thing! My CDM high school experience was fun, memorable, and created a lasting marriage as well as valued friendships.
